• Do you type 85+ words per minute?

• Do you have excellent grammar and punctuation?

• Do you own your own foot pedal, transcription software and transcription headset?

• Do you have up-to-date Microsoft Word?

• Do you have up-to-date anti-virus software?

• Are you willing to work nights and weekends as needed?

• Are you good with accents?

• Do you believe you have common sense?

• Are you able to work with different styles of transcription (i.e., paraphrasing and/or verbatim, speaker tags, time stamps, etc.)?​
